This Chivas Extra 13 blended Scotch whisky selectively matured in Oloroso Sherry Casks is inspired by the Chivas brothers’ 13 King Street Emporium in Aberdeen, where they imported different spirits, exotic spices, and luxury food items from across the globe. Imparting its own unique combination of characteristics onto the Chivas blend, this finish brings new and contrasting flavour notes to the spirit for the first time.

Tasting note: A rich combination of sweet ripe pears in syrup and vanilla caramel, infused with cinnamon sweets and crisp almonds.

EXTRA SANGRIA

Enhance the Mediterranean notes in Chivas Extra 13 Sherry Cask with a twist on a classic sangria.

30ml Chivas Extra 13 Sherry Cask

20ml Campo Viejo Rioja

20ml lemon juice

20ml sugar syrup

Top with soda water

Orange slice, to garnish

Glass: Tall

Method: Fill a glass to the top with ice and add Chivas Extra Sherry Cask, red wine, lemon juice, and sugar syrup. Top with soda water. Garnish with an orange slice.

CHIVAS RED COLLINS

25ml dry Oloroso sherry

25ml Chivas Extra 13 Sherry Cask

12.5ml fresh lemon juice

12.5ml redcurrant syrup 

Dash of soda water

Lemon peel, to garnish

Method: Add all ingredients except soda into glass. Fill the glass with ice all the way to the top. Add a little bit of soda and give a small 2 second stir to blend the ingredients. Add a little more soda, so the liquid is 3cm below the top. Add one or two more ice cubes to make them tight and compact. Garnish with lemon peel.
