This masterfully handcrafted and unfiltered sloe gin is unique in its complexity while accentuating great British traditions and the nativeness of the Black Forest. Distilled in small batches from 47 predominantly unusual but regional botanicals and macerated with wild-growing, handpicked sloe berries from the Black Forest, this Schwarzwald sloe gin is a true MONKEY 47, but nevertheless a whole different one. One for the sloe connoisseur.

Tasting notes: On the nose, very complex, very aromatic fruit notes backed with strong amounts of juniper. On the palate, a healthy mix of earthy juniper coupled with rich, tangy, sweet berries. Dry, tart, refreshing finish. Alcohol volume 29%

Perfect Serve: Sloe gins can easily be enjoyed slowly on their own, as they are sweeter with a lower abv. However, they definitely work well in the mix too - creating a fruity and refreshing drink. Try with a classic tonic (such as Fentimans Premium Indian Tonic), or for a ginger kick - with a ginger ale. Enjoy with soda or in a cocktail.

30ml Monkey Schwarzwald Sloe Gin

30ml Red Vermouth

30ml Campari 

Pour all ingredients over ice, serve in a tumbler and garnish with a twist of orange zest.
