The brainchild of vodka enthusiast and industry veteran, Pleurat Shabani, this small batch Polish vodka is made with three different grains - spelt (the happy grain), Golden rye (the dancing grain) and early winter wheat (the smiling grain), grown by farmers close to Poland's Bialowieza Forest. It is filtered through silver birch charcoal resulting in a complex and very well balanced spirit. Launched in 2010, it is named for Konik, which is a primitive Polish horse, and legend has it that just a glimpse of this mysterious beast is enough to ensure a good harvest for the grains used. Konik's Tail has been a huge hit in style bars!
Creamy vanilla, with rye spiciness appearing alongside black pepper and a burnt note, lingering butterscotch sweetness, raspberry and a pinch of spice.
