Château de Goëlane is an easy-to-drink, fruit-forward red, a wonderful example of an easy and unpretentious Bordeaux. The cherry and dark fruit aromas that dominate the nose are equally present on the palate, along with an ample, fleshy mouthfeel. The fine terroir brings out the quintessence of the estate’s Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Petit Verdot varietals. The Cabernet Sauvignon that thrives on the estate’s chalky clay slopes and makes up 25% of the blend, brings structure and a hint of spice. At once dense and supple, Château de Goëlane is remarkable for its overall elegance.

Tasting notes: A beautifully intense, almost black colour. The nose exudes aromas of red fruits combined with roasted notes and a touch of vanilla. The palate offers a smooth attack and a full bodied mid-palate underpinned by powerful and elegant tannins. A harmonious wine with a very persistent finish.
