Made with grapes only from what is considered the best area in Burgundy, this Pinot Noir has aromas of red cherry, cranberry and spice. On the palate, it is dry and medium-bodied with fine grained tannins and mouth-watering acidity. The Louis Jadot Bourgogne Pinot Noir Couvent des Jacobins "cuvée" comes from a balanced blend of Côte d'Or, including Hautes Côte de Beaune and Hautes Côte de Nuits, Côte Chalonnaise (Mercurey) and Auxerrois (Irancy). At a young age, the Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir AOC Couvent of Jacobin shines in a bright ruby red and develops elegant garnet-colored reflexes as it matures.
