Baron de Lestac Red wine is an award-winning wine made from three iconic Bordeaux varietals - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Merlot gives the wine a rich and supple character with fruity and spicy aromas. Cabernet Sauvignon is aromatic and gives a beautiful colour to the wine. This varietal gives structure and richness in tannins, with an exceptional ability to age.

Tasting notes: Dark garnet with brick colour highlights. Powerful notes of red fruits and a hint of vanilla. A very balanced wine with notes of red fruits, finely oaked. The tannins are melted and the length of the wine reveals notes of toasted wood. Good structure and a pleasant velvety texture. Decant an hour before serving. Serve at 16°C - 18°C

Food Pairing: Excellent with beef, lamb, duck or pigeon; ripe cheese (camembert, livarot, vacherin) and also chocolate desserts.
